Regarding juvenile justice act

As I am interested in law, but I have a query regarding juvenile justice act 2015. If crime by any child is done in 2013 suppose. And fir is filled in 2023 suppose ,Then which of juvenile justice act 2000 or juvenile justice act 2015 is valid?
please remember that the law in force at the time of the Act or that of the FIR is always prevelant. so if the FIR is done in 2013 then the Juvenile Justice Act 2000 will be applicable and not the ACT of 2015
