Can security proceedings under section 107 /151 Cr.p.c go hand in hand with proceedings under IPC, on same facts/offence?
The sections 107/151 of cr.p.c are the discretionary power of police to avoid the circumstances where there could be danger to peace , in hands of parties. Indian penal code (IPC) has got some sections near to them but FIR has to be registered . And in 107/151 proceedings, Kalandra is registered and proceeded.
