Phone stolen thief arrested but police gives complainant another phone

Phone stolen thief arrested. when I went to police station to release my mobile phone they give me dead phone and this phone is not my phone they cheated me now how can i take action against police investigation officer. please reply me as soon as possible.
In case a FIR was registered in relation to your stollen phone, then the phone might have been released on supardari by the court. You can approach the cour and uprise the same fact before the court and also you mist file a complaint regarding the same to concerned police station

file a written complaint stating exact event to the concerned SHO of the police station of that area, also naming the concerned investigating officer who was investigating the matter and stating, that the mobile phone which he has recovered is dead phone and that phone doesn't belong to you.
