Hello, Drunk and drive challans are adjudicated by the court. The case is first listed before the Magistrate, who, upon hearing, imposes the prescribed fine. After payment of the fine, the challan is duly disposed of and the matter stands closed.

Your challan is already forwarded to court, and it can be disposed only through court appearance. Since this is your first offence, the matter can be resolved smoothly. Please contact me directly with your challan/vehicle details, I will guide and represent you in court for quick disposal.

You can get this matter resolved by visiting the e-challan portal of your state and use your vehicle number or challan number to track the case. If you are unable to find the information online, you can approach the nearest court dealing with traffic offences and inquire with the clerk. Once you have the court details, you should engage a lawyer who can help you with the proper representation and guide you through the process of disposing of the case, especially since it is your first offence.
