Menance created by stray dogs in the society

28-Mar-2026 (In Criminal Law)
Over the past several months, three stray dogs have created a menace within our society premises. They have attacked house help, small children, and senior citizens, causing fear and insecurity among residents. Despite repeated requests, a few families continue to feed these dogs inside the society, which encourages their presence and aggression. These families also obstruct any attempt by residents to remove or relocate the dogs. We would like your guidance on this.

• The present situation is not merely an animal welfare issue but a serious public safety concern • The actions of certain residents encouraging stray dogs within the society despite repeated attacks are contrary to law and judicial guidance • The society is legally entitled to regulate, restrict and control such activities in the interest of safety A strong legal notice with specific Bombay High Court judgements along with consequences will help your case.
