Is it advisable to file an FIR against criminals in my case?

A case under section 498A etc. I.P.C. & 4 D.P. Act is under trial at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Some evidencial records was in the custody of a Govt. office of the other State. That was destroyed by criminals. May I lodge an F.I.R. against criminals in the PS in which criminals reside? 2.Criminals are habitual . I am a female. They can hurt me outside my native. Whether I am entitle to lode an F.I.R. of Zero no, in the above PS ?

If the evidence was destroyed in the police custody, then you can lodge an FIR against the criminals under the Indian Penal code. Further you can file a writ petition against the State and seek status on the documents.
