18-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Dear sir please advise, I was convicted when studying in graduation, my age was 20 in 2007, other than my home town district in Maharashtra, fir was lodged against me in ipc 110 and 117, second day district court fined me for rupees 100/ and released me, actually I had gone with my friends for party, party place was nearby red light area, that time police caught me , and file case against 110/117 , I was feared about what will happen if my family knows this incident, so I accepted the crime, court fined me100/ , because one friend told me that if you consent the crime you will fine 100/ and u will be released, so I did ,same . But now after 13 year I selected in bank , at age of 32, please suggest what will happen if police verify, should I disclose my case in attestation form, or hide this in attestation form, I am really worried please suggest, is police can find the case before 13 years, happened in other district, if verified is 110/117 serious crime, pls suggest further process.

I think you should file an application for discharge to court or you can approach high court for quashing the FIR if the case is still pending.
If you have accepted the charges and paid fine it means you accepted you were guilty. Although there was no conviction. I would have to know whether there is a record of this, or if there has been any record of compounding of offence.
But by hiding this fact you would be opening yourself to another case. Please provide more details for better help or a proper advice.
