FSL lab report and NDPS small quantity threshold for MDMA

A relative was arrested with 5.76g of MDMA. The lawyer demands 35k INR, claiming he has a "setting" inside the FSL lab to reduce the weight for bail. We don't have this money. Is this a known lawyer scam or is it possible? Since street drugs contain impurities, will the automated lab test naturally drop the net weight of active substance below 5g (small quantity)? Should we just wait for the official court report? Please advise honestly

Do not pay money for any illegal claims like FSL setting, as this is completely unsafe and unethical. Under the NDPS Act, the court considers the gross weight of the seized substance mixture, not just the pure MDMA content.
