Hello, this is Adv. Twishaa Gangar, practicing in Mumbai, primarily in Family Law and Criminal Law. I understand your concern. Merely because a Domestic Violence case is pending, your family members cannot simply force you to leave the house. Depending on the facts, you may have remedies under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, including residence and protection-related reliefs. Since your case has been pending for almost 2 years without an effective order, I can review your case papers and advise you on the appropriate legal remedy and the next steps. You may share your latest court order/order sheet and briefly explain your present situation. My professional fees are reasonable and can be discussed depending on the nature and requirements of your matter. I believe legal assistance should be accessible and transparent.
