Once summons is served then it is ur duty to attend the court either by person or through ur advocate or else court will issue Non Bailable Warrant on u.
Further regarding statement of mutual funds if u
Have not received money to ur account then the question of u issuing statement regarding the same will not arises. Suppose if ur a broker or sub broker on NSE OR BSE plot form, then the money is transferred to client account maintained by u, if any business has taken place in the name of the complainant in the said platform through ur agency, then the statement provided by such platform through ur agency cannot be called as fake.

Dear Sir / Madam,

It seems police would have filed the case IPC u/s 420,467,468 ... etc.,

From you message, charge sheet is been filed in court. So, the hearing date is 18th mar 2016. you need to attend the court with your lawyer because there are various process you need to follow. I believe your case stage would be HBC ( Hearing before call ) .

Before suggesting(whether to Quash the case / File 'B' report in police station to close this matter / To proceed with the case .. etc., ), I need to understand the nature of the crime / charge sheet information / jurisdiction of court ... etc .

First of all you must attend court on the date mentioned in summons. If you donot attend then non-bailable warrant will be issued against you. If you engage a lawyer, he will have to file exemption application for you incase you cannot attend the court on the date mentioned in summons. As far as proving your innocence is concerned it all depends upon eveidence to be led in trial.
