Case status is not updated. Getting new dates.

16-Nov-2025 (In Criminal Law)
Dear Sir/madam, my wife did not appear for witness statement in 498A case. Hence the judge acquitted me and my family (In July 2024). I got the certified copy of the judgement from my lawyer where it is mentioned that i am acquitted from the case. But the same judgement is not uploaded in the ecourt portal (after 4 months is passed). Now i see new dates in ecourt portal for appearence. The case status is still same like before. 1) What does it mean?

Since you have already been acquitted in the 498A case and you possess the certified copy of the judgment, your acquittal is fully valid. The judgment not being uploaded on the e-court portal is only an administrative/technical delay by the court staff. It does not affect your acquittal. The new dates shown on the e-court portal are also due to the system not being updated. You do not need to appear based on those dates. What you should do: 1. Visit the court registry/nazir section with your certified copy and submit a written request to update/upload the final judgment on the e-court portal. 2. Your lawyer may also inform the court office so the record can be corrected. You are not at any risk—the certified judgment is final and legally binding.
