Register a case of theft and criminal breach of trust, cheating against your friend and make sure it results in an FIR. When summons and notice is issued by court or police your friend may get scared and return the vehicle.

Sir, You don't have documents. Just oral contract the Hon'ble court do not believe, do one thing, issue legal notice, then wait for some time for his response to the legal notice. if he replied to the legal notice, just look in to the legal notice about his version, whether he admits any transactions as you stated in the above. if he admits something about the transactions, then you have option to file case against him for hand over the car and recover the due amount. for further information please contact.
