Boy promised marry but not denying to do that

I & my guy got into relationship 2 yrs ago. He said he loves me but cannot marry me, he said he cannot assure abt the future. I had not taken him serious abt loving him. But he kept texting me kept calling me. He showed lot of care and love for me Inturn even i started loving him. We passed 2 years and now families got to know about it. But his parents aren't agreeing as he belongs to Brahmin caste and i belong to gowda.Even he says if parents agree i will marry if not no. When i fot back he blames me telling i told you in the beginning itself so its your fault dont blame me.Can You pls sugest
legal action can be taken only if you have proper document proof on promising you to marry. Having just call/sms records may not be enough to enforce him to marry you. But having such mobile records you can take legal action(In case, if you have suffered a lot both mentally/economically) by other ways like., Sexual harassment / Threatening you for money/sex ... etc., . Need to discuss more before initiating any legal action.
