Application for the Fresh Passport

19-Mar-2026 (In Criminal Law)
I want to apply for a fresh passport. I have a certain query regarding a legal matter. I was previously charged with IPC 498a and related cases. As per Supreme Court orders, all the cases stand quashed and have a Final Order online copy, but somehow these cases are still appearing on the website of the District Court. So, should I select the option in the passport application as "Yes" when asked if there are any criminal cases pending in the courts or "No"? Will there be any legal complications?

Since all the cases against you are already quashed by the Supreme Court, legally there are no pending criminal cases against you. So, while filling the passport application, you can select “No” for pending cases.
