Acquitted in criminal case can I get a job in central excise dept

dear sir, i have completed all stages of recruitment for the post of central excise inspector. at last stage i save submited attestaion form in which i have disclosed about a criminal case under IPS 147.323,341 in 2010 & acquitted from all charges in 2011 by trial court. will it create any problem in my joining. plz give ur valuable suggestions

First of all, once you stand acquitted the FIR does not have any significance. Secondly, while most government organizations may not recruit a convict, there is no bar on recruiting a person who was once accused but now acquitted. To be sure however do let me know which government office you intend to apply at so that we can check if their recruitment rules provide for any such disqualification.
