will the court file 420 ipc case on a reference person

A person whome I know some years back took loan or something in bank and given my name and phone number as reference. I do not know when he given my name or when he took loan. Now the police and advocate calling me and asking to repay 30k for settlement bcoz 420 is filed on me it seems or give their family or relative or friends number, but I dont have any of their numbers. I blocked advocates num. I got married since 3 years, I am so scared to tell to my husband about this. please help.

If anything like a criminal case happens you will surely receive a summons notice from the court in written form. so any next time if they tried contact you ask them about the case details like cc number and all so we can fetch details at ecourts application and verify whether it's a scam or soo
