Please clarify what is the exact meaning of ADJOURNED ADMISSION in HC. I am a respondent in that case and is that good or bad for me ?
“Admission” can have two (2) meanings in regards to the law.
the case was accepted. The state and the defense attorneys appeared before a judge or panel, and presented the 'bare bones' of the case. ...
Or, that the accused made an admission of guilt.
An admission in the law of evidence is a prior statement by an adverse party which can be admitted into evidence over a hearsay objection. In general, admissions are admissible in criminal and civil cases.
