Two Disciplinary orders in Same matter

01-Aug-2024 (In Civil Law)
On 25th July disciplinary authority passed one order against me for reduction of my wages also on 31st July passed another order in the same matter to dismissal of my services. Is is legally correct to pass two different orders in same matter by same disciplinary authority please advise & suggest remedial action.

Issuing two different orders on the same disciplinary matter—first reducing wages and then dismissing services—typically contravenes principles of procedural fairness and consistency. Generally, once a disciplinary action is taken, it should be final or appropriately reviewed, not superseded by a contradictory decision. The same authority changing its own decisions could undermine the integrity of the process and may not align with legal standards. To address this situation, you should first check your company's grievance or appeal procedures to understand how to contest the orders. Submit a formal appeal detailing the issue with the two orders, highlighting the procedural inconsistency. Document all orders and related communications to support your case effectively.
