The NOC is required when :-
You are permanently relocating the vehicle to Maharashtra.
You plan to re-register the vehicle in Maharashtra.
You have stayed in Maharashtra for more than 12 months with that vehicle.
The NOC is not required when :-
You are just visiting temporarily for example :- tourism, short term stay or study etc
You are using the vehicle in Maharashtra for less than 12 months
You are not transferring ownership or changing registration.
