Trade license cancelled please help me.

21-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir/ Madom ,I run a beauty parlour in a room of our own flat. For it I had taken license in the year 2017 for five years by seeking the permission of neighbors. But due to dispute between my husnand and the builder of apartment in which we reside,. In 2018 builder has united all the flat owners against me and given a fake complaint to licensing authority of Hubli- Dharwad muncipal corporation to cancel the trade license. The licensing authority of Hubli- Dharwad muncipal corporation(HDMC), cancelled the license in 2018 without proper inspection. Then we registered a complaint (2017) in e-spandana againt this act of cancelling license. After almost one year of time e-spandana nodal officer has advised the commissioner of (HDMC)to reconsider. On 20/10/2020, the health officer came to our home and inspected closed beauty parlour, and stated he cannot reissue the license in residential area. But it has been issued earlier. Is it really woman empowerment? What should I do?

Hi you have two options. The first you would file a civil suit restraining the apartment owners from interfering with you. The second file a writ petition against the commissioner praying to quash the decision of cancelling your licence. In the same writ you can also pray that other resident are refrained from. interfering in your business. In my opinion it is better you file a writ as they are disposed sooner than a civil suit. The only issue will be lawyer fee. Since it's high court most lawyers tend to charge a high fee.
