To make corrections in leaving certificate for cast

In my leaving certificate cast mistakenly wrote different which I am not belonging to it. I was meritorious in academics I did fill to correct it. Since I have completed my graduation preparing for government civil service exam I want to issue cast certificate (OBC NCL). My father originally from Maharashtra I have his LC and cast certificate issued by Maharashtra government.. from 1990 we settled down in Surat by born and graduation completed in Surat itself. Can you please guide me.
