Street land encroachment in front of his house by making stairs

I live in delhi and my street is very narrow and one resident in street has encroached some part in front of his house to make stairs for his house Which causing difficulty coming and going through street What to do

Encroachment can be demolished by the order of the court. if the property which he has bought does not include the property which he is claiming and has encroached upon that the. we can get the proper order from the court for demolition and the SDM is also authorised to go for the demolition. however we need to file the case asap as the longevity will tilt the balance in favour of the accused person
