There is a Shop in the group floor of my flat ... Earlier there is only a mobile shop but after it becomes a fast food shop and now it became biryani shop..... Just under my balcony the shop is located and the owner makes biryani or just fry the mutton or chicken it smells so bad that i feel like vomiting...so i can i complaint against the shopkeeper and the owner of the room who has sold the room to him.... it's not okk that in residential area to open a biryani shop or fast food shop

I understand that you are residing on the first floor of a residential building, and that the presence of a commercial food outlet operating on the ground floor is causing significant inconvenience due to persistent and unpleasant odours. it's their duty to maintain all. the necessary procedures so that no one can get effected or face any issue by their work.

Hello Satyam you have various remedies:- 1) You can file an official complaint before the Kolkata Municipal Corporation raising concern that there is an illegal use of residential space and causing nuisance. 2) You can send a legal notice through a lawyer to the owner of the shop and the flatowner or landowner of the shop stating the misuse of residential property. 3) File a complaint to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate for removal of public nuisance 4) File a civil suit for injunction to get a restraining order stating that they will restrain themselves from the act of such nuisance.
