School failing to fulfil services

02-Apr-2026 (In Civil Law)
I am a student, my CBSE school(private) refuses transportation for external sports events despite multiple parents complaining, how can I legally document these incidents and where can I file an official complaint without anyone getting harassed by the school, Help would be dearly appreciated, I and other peers are tired of this school and we need action.

You should first document everything by creating a dated written complaint signed by multiple parents as evidence, then file a formal complaint with the CBSE Affiliation Department at and also with the State Transport Authority since schools charging transport fees are legally required to provide the service under the Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961 . Additionally, you can file a complaint on the online portal which was specifically created for parent feedback on school transport issues, and file a grievance with the District Education Officer (DEO) under the Right to Education Act for deficiency in service . To ensure your identity is protected, you can request the CBSE and Transport Department to keep your complaint confidential, and consider filing a joint complaint with other parents to dilute individual targeting while still forcing action.
