related to rights of a student's privacy

i want to know that can a private HEI in India invade the privacy of a student by forcefully checking his or her phone and can rusticate or suspend a student if a boy/girl 's messages and photos are found in their mobile phone like student don't have right to be relationship. I saw a girl who had gone to warden to tell her problem about other girl who is character assassination her but warden said that your phone and all your personal call recording will be checked and you can be rusticated.

The government is continuously working on making much strict data protection and privacy law. however, it is totally against the law to check and intimidate someone. moreover it is against the fundamental rights provided to every citizen of the country. FOR MORE INFORMATION Contact me
