Received a clarification letter regarding place of birth

Fresh passport received a clarification letter stating "we have found discrepancies in place of birth j&k", may conform MHA. Basically my forefathers are from jammu so we have by default a state subject like a domicile certificate so I filled the same as the my birth place which I used to provide and I have also done my 10th from J&k so it's my dob proof but actually my pob is not actually j&k it's gujrat and I don't have any document for that and also in that my dob is mismatch now wt to do
