query regarding making of EWS certificate
23-Feb-2023 (In Civil Law)
I live in a house that exceeds the 200 sqyards limit under the EWS criteria. However the house is in my LATE grandfather's name and NOT in my father's name. So for the purpose of EWS certificate will I be eligible for it as neither me nor anyone in my family directly own any house or property? Although we may inherit a portion of the house after property distribution.
u are elegible for ews certificate because you do not have any property in your name. And anticipation of owning property can not bar you for taking the ews certificate. you can approach to the authority along with the requisite documents to get the same.
