One friend is blackmailing me for pictures and i m scared to file any complaint due to my family pls suggest me what i can do and how can i handle things
First preference for reporting such threats are Cyber police station which is also technically equipped with measures to curb the spread of objectionable content that might be leaked be it video/ link etc. so as to control the damage to the highest possible extent. In case, you need to be assisted by female police officers, you may also dial 181 Abhayam mahila police helpline and also in-person visit the Mahila Police Station at police Headquarters. Rest assured, the police officers will not leak your identity as the laws are sensitive effi to punish the breach maker even from investigation team or media. All you nees is a little courage. Don't negotiate with the blackmailing persons, you don't stand any chance. Act fast and visit police' station in person. Keep your original govt identity card handy.
