OBC CERTIFICATE ISSUING RELATED

23-Apr-2025 (In Civil Law)
My mother is working as a B.T. Assistant teacher (Group B post) in Government school. My father is working as a B.T. Assistant in Government aided school.whether my father working in Government aided school will be considered as directly recruited Group B officer(Government employee/servant). As per OBC guidelines if both the parents are directly recruited Group B officers then OBC reservation is not applicable for their childrens. Whether I am eligible for OBC reservation.please clarify me.

parents are Group B teachers and are OBC, their children would generally be considered part of the OBC NCL and are likely to be eligible for OBC reservation benefits. This eligibility is based on the parents' employment status and is a standard rule within the OBC reservation

As per OBC creamy layer guidelines, only directly recruited Group B officers in Government service are considered for exclusion. Since your father works in a government-aided school, he is not a direct government servant. Therefore, only your mother qualifies as Group B. You are eligible for OBC reservation, as both parents are not Group B direct recruits in government service. You fall under non-creamy layer, subject to income and other criteria.
