As an advocate, you know that the firm's reconstitution (address change and partner changes) does not, in itself, extinguish its legal identity or its ability to sue. The firm, even after reconstitution, would likely retain its legal standing to pursue a recovery suit against a third party under the Indian legal system, provided the cause of action arose when the firm was in existence and had the right to sue. You'd need to ensure proper documentation of the reconstitution (e.g., amended partnership deed, intimation to Registrar of Firms if applicable) to prove the firm's continued existence and the authority of the current partners to represent it.
