Neighborhood demolition caused cracks in my building

Dear LawRatio, A neighborhood building demolition caused cracks in my house. We called the police and in front of police he agreed to repair, but his behavior was threatening. I have recording that they were hammering directly in a way that it is hitting my wall. Same issues was raised to MCD311 apps but it doesn't found helpful.

you can file for a temporary injunction suit against the person by providing suffecient evidence of your loss due to crack in your building. in case anyone violates the injunction then proper legal action can be taken against him

First of all rather than going legally you should serve him a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either repair the cracks or pay the compensation or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a complaint in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction and even register a FIR under public nuisance.

We should file a civil suit for mandatory and permanent injunction against your neighbour for the directions to be given to him to repair the affected portion of your house along with compensation. For more information you may consult me.

you can file a case against the neighbour in court and obtain a stay on the construction activity being carried out by him where the construction activity directly affects your premises. you can also obtain compensation for damages cost to repair your premises.
