Name mentioned in Class 10th certificate does not have Fathers name

I was recently applying for DGCA computer number but got rejected because my name in Class 10th certificate does not contain my fathers name. And even my fathers name does not contain his middle name. All my other documents (Aadhaar, Passport & 12th Certificate) contain my full name. In school records, my name does not have Fathers name mentioned as it was not mandatory at that time (however it is now). I passed out 10th in 2018, what should I do to solve this problem?

Make an application to reissue Leaving certificate in your school and ask them to write the name of your father in it. If they ask you for a supporting document or an affidavit then produce the same. You can thereafter go to the concerned Board which issued you the Certificate (Marksheet) and apply for a change based on the said documents and follow the process. Open to further queries.
