Mutation Application Rejected By BLLRO

30-Nov-2025 (In Civil Law)
Sir, my father bought a plot 2 katha from a owner out of his 4 katha plot. But my father did not complete mutation. After few months the owner sold fraudulently to other 3 katha. Second buyer completed mutation. Now my father unable to compete mutation because only one katha is remaining in that plot. We had filed a case in Howrah Court and Hounarable district judge ordered our deed valid for mutation because we are first owner of that plot. BLLRO, Sankrail did not take action to cancel second oweners mutation for making our mutation as per Honorable District Court order. Please advise where should we file a case for mutation for speedy judgement LRTT Salt Lake OR WRIT PETITION IN Kolkata High Court . Thank you.

File Writ Petition (Mandamus) in Calcutta High Court, Original Side Your advocate should pray for: Implementation of the District Judge’s order for mutation. Direction to BLLRO to mutate your 2 kathas immediately. Cancellation of the illegal mutation of the second buyer. Contempt proceedings if necessary (for non-compliance by BLLRO).

it is not clear what action you have taken before the concerned BL&LRO. It seems that decree of the court is in your favour then you should apply to the concerned BLLRO for mutation. after issuing notice and after hearing mutation order will be passed. if it goes otherwise, you can prefer appeal.
