Legal Guidance Needed for Discrepancy in Examination Results

06-Jan-2025 (In Civil Law)
I’m an 8th-semester BE Mechanical student. My 4th-semester back subject result, uploaded online in June, showed I passed. However, the hardcopy mark sheet now shows I failed by 1 mark. When I raised the issue with the authorities, they asked for 15 days to review. If they declare me failed and ask me to rewrite the exam, despite the online result showing I passed, can I take legal action? This discrepancy impacts my academic record and future; I need guidance on addressing it legally.

Online results are considered provisional. And usually the courts won't interfere with the evaluation and the process of the college/university. But still we can take legal action seeking proper direction to the authorities if they do not consider your request for review.
