Issue getting Community certificate

I'm a converted muslim.in my educational certificates I belongs to Hindhu SC caste now I got converted to muslim and I applied in Gazette office properly, now I m going to apply for upcoming UPSC exams for that I applied for OBC certificate via my husband's name and identity. Some people told me that if I got a community certificate that occurs with husband's name I'll automatically goes to OC category. Is that really true. Kindly please clarify my doubts

hi, alocious here, firstly you have misconstrued the concept of obc In a upsc exam perspective, obc category applies for economically backward individuals who are to obtain obc certificate of declaration from the local tahsildar office, thank you. you can contact me for further details thank you
