I am interested in importing an airsoft pistol, specifically the EMG TTI 2011 John Wick Green Gas model, which has a muzzle energy of 1.2 Joules and shoots at a velocity of 370fps using 6mm plastic BBs weighing 0.2g. Before proceeding, I'd like to clarify its legality under arms laws and determine the expected import duty. hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised. firstly you need a gun license under the arms act to import a pistol, once license is in hand you can proceed with import, however you need to furnish the papers for license at the time of collecting the pistol.
