We have an ancestral landed property of around 7 acres in district Jamtara, Jharkhand. One person,posing to be the owner, has illegally and fraudulently given a GPA to a land mafia, the illegal Power to sale our land.The mafia has in turn sold big chunks of our land and registered the sale deeds on the strength of that illegal GPA at Jamtara registration office. The illegal GPA registered in Kolkata needs to be challenged and declared void by appropriate court in Kolkata as early as possible. For this we need legal assistance immediately.

As per the details provided by you my legal suggestion would be that you can file a declaration suit seeking that the power of attorney was never executed by your side but keep in mind that the court cannot issue negative declarations so the plaint of the case need to be drafted properly and moreover you can also file a criminal case under Section 416 of IPC for cheating by personation and that will add more strength to your case.
