Iam currently working as class 1 officer in a Uttarakhand govt University. Iam entitled to type 3 accomodation but the house alloted to me is decrepit and not fit for living. Also iam currently pregnant. Iam not willing to live in this accomodation. Is there any law that can help me with this government order or can my university take action against me for not following their order. Can I ask university to allot me some other house as per legal rules.
yes you can make a representation with the university mentioning reason as tho why the present place is not inhabitable and requesting them for an alternate accomodation, you can mention your special case since you are pregnant, if they don't concede to your request you can file a writ before the high court which can direct the university to decide your matter.
