Pls send documents required for Re-Issue of Passport from India and Canada... Place of birth worng... All proofs are correct, but while applying passport mistake was done by us.. The correct Place of Birth is NASHIK,MAHARASHTRA, but in passport it is VADODARA,GUJARAT.. Which is easy procedure either from India or Canada ??

Go with original country of Citizenship, which is India. Process and documents required, both are listed on the official website of the govt department. Alternatively you can contact passport office via call during business hours. there's no harm in approaching directly. To cure your mistake, you are required to file an Affidavit before the Passport office in India. I have observed this question lately, being asked without any changes again and again and again, just doing cut copy paste. You wouldn't be bothered but it eats up lot of efforts and time of legal professionals to provide you with a suggestion, advice and legal sense. You can also seek guidance from the Indian Consulate in Canada if you are adamant about ever leaving that country.
