Compound wall issue with neighborhood

24-Feb-2024 (In Civil Law)
The Compound wall of my house has 3 inches of neighbours land which I did not construct and now he demands to demolish the 40 year old compound wall. Is there any rule that it cannot be demolished as it is a negligible quantity like 3 inches and the enjoinment is over 40 years. The wall will break completely if 3 inches are cut off. Is there any solution

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, initially we can procure an interim stay from demolishing the wall, and then undergo negotiations for retaining the structure. you can contact me for further clarifications, thank you
