College in Bihar not giving degree after 2 yrs of graduation

I graduated from a IIIT in Bihar in 2022, and no one from my batch onwards has a degree certificate. After graduation I worked at a startup for a year while prepping my profile for a masters in Germany. But in late 2023, after I had informed my company that I was resigning I got to know that my provisional degree certificate won’t be enough to get a visa. The college’s reply is that I can’t have the actual degree cuz they can’t conduct a convocation now. I lost a lot of money and mental peace.

You can approach Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission stating the deficiency of service as well as unfair trade practices. At the earliest you serve a notice stating the same. If the reply is in negative proceed with the case remedy is available in favor of you.
