Dear Sir/Madam,
Since the challan has already been forwarded to the Court (CJM, Gautam Budh Nagar), there is generally no need for you to visit any office immediately. The matter can be verified and resolved through the concerned court records. The change of address will not affect the disposal of the challan. I can assist you in checking the current status and taking the necessary steps for its resolution before the concerned court.
Since the e-challan status is showing “Sent to Court at CJM GBN (Gautam Buddha Nagar)”, it means that the traffic challan has already been transferred from the traffic enforcement system to the court for adjudication. Once a challan is sent to court, it may no longer be available for payment through the Virtual Court portal, which is why you are unable to locate it there. In such a situation, you should first verify the case status by contacting or visiting the office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) or the concerned traffic court handling e-challan matters. You may also check whether any case has been registered in your name or against the vehicle number through the e-Courts portal by searching with the vehicle details, challan number, or case number if available. Since your address registered at the time of purchase of the vehicle has changed, there is a possibility that any court notice or summons may have been sent to the old address. Therefore, carry copies of the vehicle registration certificate (RC), identity proof, and address proof while approaching the court. If the vehicle ownership has been transferred or the registered address has been updated in the RC, keep supporting documents ready. An advocate practicing in Gautam Buddha Nagar can also inspect the court record and ascertain the present status of the case, including whether any warrant, notice, or pending proceedings exist, and assist in obtaining an appropriate resolution.
