31-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have recently changed my name legally through legal affidavit from notary, news paper publications and gazette notification but I have not been able to change name in my academic documents as it is not allowed. My latest qualification is L.L.B. and I want to get myself registered in state bar council. Is it possible to get registration with my new name?

Yes, give the gazette to them and tell them that you've legally undergone a name change after you finished your law graduation. They should register you with your new name. In case they don't do the needful, you may approach the High Court and seek a writ of mandamus against them.
