AS A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE CAN I DO BED COURSE ONLINE WITHOUT PERMISSION

07-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir, I am defence employee. Working in shift duties. Can I pursue Regular Bed course in session 2020-2022 . As classes is online. I have not to go college for class due to covid. I had applied for permission but authority denied saying that u can't pursue regular / online course. U can only pursue correspondence course. Sir if I complete course without permission and after completion of course I take certificate from college administration that I have completed my entire Bed course online for the session 2020-22. Then can I applied for teaching job. ? In or after retirement from defence service. Is it legally valid.?? Or I will face any problem from my next employer. Kindly clarify sir.. Thanks

Hello Sir,

In this scenario I would suggest you not to pursue the course without permission. For the reason that if the same comes in the notice of the Department, then disciplinary action can be initiated against you. And that might cost you increments or other punishment. Rather you can do one thing, look for any notification or rule for your department particularly which allows employees like you to participate in online courses. If there are any then you can again make a representation before the Authorities for reconsideration.
