To file additional documents in a civil case under the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), you must submit an application (commonly called an Interlocutory Application or I.A.) requesting the court?s permission. If you're the plaintiff, the application should be made under Order VII Rule 14(3); if you're the defendant, under Order VIII Rule 1A(3), often read along with Section 151 CPC (inherent powers of the court). In the application, you must explain why the documents were not submitted earlier and why they are now necessary for the case. The court will allow the documents to be accepted if it finds the reasons valid and the documents relevant.

Dear Sir/Mam As you shared about your query. You can seek permission from the court by filing an application under order 8 rule 1A read with section 151 Civil Procedure Code in which you will have to mention the reason for filling those documents after completion of your cross-examination and in case the court finds the satisfactory ground then the court will easily allow you for filling those documents.

Production of additional evidence in appeal ORDER 41 RULE 27 that is additional evidence can be filed before the court in case if those documents have that much importance which can make or break the case.

Dear concerned, You can file additional documents at any stage of the proceedings with the leave of the court, but you have to show cause to the satisfaction of the court for the delay in filing the documents at an earlier stage. In order to file additional documents at this stage, you have to file an application under Order 7 rule 14 (3) read with section 151 of the CPC.
