Q: Broker asking for more brokerage what can be done
We have rented a flat on 11 October 2016 and made a rent agreement for 2yrs. On that time we have paid our security deposit, and brokerage which was equale to one month rent. Now its a month of January of 2017 and broker is asking for brokerage saying that it is a new year so you have to pay brokerage of this year in January it self. Its not even a year completed that we have paid brokerage. Can you help me what should I do legally?

Brokerage is not admitted contract unless both parties admit it in a legal way.In your case liability to pay extra brokerage is not mandatory on you if no such previous contract is there in between you and broker.
