will call back-- free question posted *LAWYER-SEARCH* my name is involved in a fight .but compromise has taken place.but police has taken my signature on the page on which compromise ia written.does this means i have a police record.by this am i become ineligible for government jobs as police verification is required for all government jobs. who is not eligible for govt job? plzz tell

Disqualification for the government job will take place only if you have a criminal record, but in this case which you are telling can't be called a criminal record. Because the compromise had taken place in initial stage of police investigation. You'll not be ineligible for government jobs due to police verification.

If your husband is already married, ur marriage is null and void. But if you want you can file a divorce petition bigamy is a ground for that. You can also file a criminal complaint against your husband if you want.

Q: Is concealing an affair before marriage fraud

Hello, I got married on 10 jan 2016 hindu family. But after few days the bride told me that she had an affair and she can not live without his ex. She even told that she told her father about the affair 10 days before the marriage but her father also concealed this from our family. Is'nt it a fraud with us? She lived with our family and left out home in just 20 days. Out marriage was not registered due to her lack of interest in our family. Please guide what to do. Thank You

If you were not aware about the affair of your wife at the time of your marriage than it can be a base for the divorce, but, if after knowing all the facts you were ready to marry her than it can't be a base for divorce. You'll have to prove her affair for divorce, burden of proof will be on you. So collect all the proofs.

Wife is earning, how to get proof for the same for maintenance case? She is working in a govt. school and has given the school's address in passbook for records

If wife is working in government school and earning, first of all she can't deny to her earnings in court. If she is denying, we may get information of his salary with RTI, mentioning his name, rank and posting school station.

Q: After cancellation of cheque can holder present the same in bank

Hi, If somebody cancel a cheque issued earlier( due to lgitimate reasons), but the cheque is still with beneficiary, can the issuer be tried under sectio-138 or any other act?

No, in this case issuer can't be tried u/s 138 N.I. act or any other act. Bcoz issuer have not any legal liability to pay if he has cancelled the cheque. The bank will also not accept such cancelled cheque.
