You can file cheating case against him. If he really has replaced the original parts with another parts. And one more thing if car is in its custody while replacing the parts then he also liable as a Bailee. His utmost responsibility is to take proper care of goods. You can File Civil case as well as Criminal Case against him. Civil Case for Compensation and Criminal Case for cheating.

You can File Defamation case against Him ! it can be filed directly in court! Clear Case of Defamation under Section 356 BNS, 2023 (I.P.C.). One of the main ingredient of Defamation case is that such news should be fake and that news is circulated amongst the people by any means.

if the property is sold after the institution of said case and the purchaser purchase it with mala fide intention or having knowledge of said case then court can cancel the sale deed and attach the said property. Otherwise if he does not have any other property and you in future succeeds in case then the outcome of the case proceedings will be the imprisonment. Court cannot do anything unless you provide some immovable or movable property details in its name or possession.
