Q: regarding chage of dob in my birth certificate..!!

i am 21 year old, i have an issue with my dob miss match in documents, i am currently in 3rd year engineering, i have 15/09/2005 on my birth certificate and aadhaar card, but it is 16/09/2005 on my educational documents i,e(10th marks sheet, intermediate marks sheet, and now maybe in my engineering documents), so i need to change birth certificate, i think the birth date might be correct, but now it's all over other documents, can't i change in birth to resolve more chaos... please help me. thx

Changing your birth certificate to match your educational records (10th marks sheet) is generally much more complicated because educational boards (like SSC/CBSE/Inter) rarely change dates of birth once registered, and doing so requires a lengthy court or board procedure. Instead, it is usually easier to update your Aadhaar and birth certificate to match your school documents if the school records reflect your long-standing official school entry, OR you can keep your birth certificate and update your school records through a gazette notification and a formal application to the respective educational board.​However, since your 10th, Intermediate, and Engineering documents all consistently show 16/09/2005, this date is widely established across your educational career. Changing multiple educational certificates is very difficult. Therefore, the most practical approach is often to get a One-Same Person affidavit, a Gazette Notification for name/DOB clarification, or approach the Registrar of Births and Deaths to correct the birth certificate if valid school records can justify it, or vice versa. It is strongly advised to consult a local advocate to review your 10th-class records and file an appropriate petition or get a formal legal opinion to prevent future employment verification issues.

As he is uneducated, you or a family member will need to assist him through the process.​First, visit the nearest authorized Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Aadhaar Enrollment Centre along with your brother and your original valid Aadhaar card to prove uniqueness. Inform the operator about the demographic mismatch (same name and DOB). Your brother will need to update his biometric details (fingerprints, iris scan, and photograph) and correct his demographic details (name, DOB, and parent's name) to create a distinct and separate identity for himself. UIDAI may require supporting documents like a birth certificate, school transfer certificate, or a valid ID proof showing his correct distinct details.
