Q: Property attached after 45 days of registration
Respected Lawyer, i bought a property small house. Registration also done. It's 45 days . Now I got a notice that property is attached and that notice mentioned ex owner name. Still they announced that property attached. Is there possibility to attach the property after transfer of property?nWhat I need to do now.I'm worried ...Seller not responding. He shifted to another location that I'm not awareAs seller took some amount using empty promissory note from X. That X initiated case and attached property Please help me.Thanks in advance
Advocate Dharaneesh Yedla answered
You first engage an advocate and implead into that case and plead before court that you have purchased that property with a genuine and good intention and you have nothing to do with debt of that X and state some other facts favorable to you.But if the X won case, he will be at Liberty to sell the property and thereby to he makes money.
Q: Mistake In Summons And Legal Notice
I have received a legal notice from a lawyer and summons from court for partition of family property but in both these documents the opponent(my brother) has mentioned that I got married when my father was alive where in reality I am not married so now the question is can I file a defamation case against my brother and his uncle or is there any way that I can proceed legally against them??
Advocate Dharaneesh Yedla answered
1) They will defend that is just a mistake.2) So far as Defamation suit concerned, the burden of proof is on you to prove that your opponent defamed your reputation before any other person or persons. Only then defamation suit will be attracted.3)Better you defend your partition suit carefully and don't flag any unnecessary litigation without a strong point on your side, if you do so which is a waste of time and money.

Q: Drunken drive, first offence with BAC reading 174. License seized.
Caught drunken drive on 1st May 2022. Driver license was seized by traffic police. I was asked to come to traffic police station and chargesheet was filed and was told that I'll be contacted for court hearing. Still waiting but havent heard back. I see national lok adalat is scheduled on 26th june 2022. Can i attend this lok adalat to clear the case? If yes, how? Will i receive a message or phone call to visit lok adalat?
Advocate Dharaneesh Yedla answered
if you haven't received any info from police, file a petition before concerned court where the case is filed to send the case to Lokadalat for settlement. Then the Lokadalat issues notice to police to attend the case on a particular date and the police may settle issue accordingly.
Q: FIR and harassment against a non indian citizen - seeking a solution
I am a British Citizen. An FIR was filed against me while i was in India in March. The reason was that i did not accept to give my properties to someone as instructed by Police in the PS. As a result, they filed an FIR that i beat a lady at my parent's home. The Police collided with the Criminals to occupy our properties as it's only my old aged mother who is the custodian. nI instructed a High Court lawyer for quashing. nnMore than 20 rowdies occupied the tenant's place by beating my mother and threatening the tenants. We complained several times to the local Police, SP, and DGP, but unfortunately, no action has been taken. The local advocate is not in favour to file a Private case as he thinks that it may impact future eviction due to lack of Police supportAs a foreigner, are there any other ways i can take action against Police and intruders? I already reported to NHRC, but i am really seeking criminal action against Police and Criminals. Please suggest me.
Advocate Dharaneesh Yedla answered
Then you yourself file a private complaint against police and others as party in person. Also record the video secretly when police and others come across you in near future and same can be used as evidence.
